Devoge™ Privacy Policy

Devoge™ ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Devoge mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

We collect minimal information necessary for the app to function:

• Account Information: When you sign in (via email, Google, or Apple), we may receive basic profile information such as your name and email address.

• Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage statistics to improve the app, such as session duration and feature usage.

• Device Permissions: The app may request permission to send notifications. This permission is optional and can be turned off by you at any time. Notifications help prevent the timer from being interrupted by accidental screen lock or background restrictions.

• Hall of Fame Participation: If you choose to join the Devoge Hall of Fame upon completing all 126 levels, we collect a display name of your choosing. This is entirely voluntary and requires your explicit consent before submission.

We do not collect sensitive personal data such as location, contacts, photos, or microphone access unless explicitly granted by you.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and improve the Devoge™ experience

• Authenticate your account

• Send optional notifications related to your timer sessions

• Analyze app performance and fix bugs

• Process in-app subscription purchases through our payment provider, RevenueCat

 

3. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only in the following limited cases:

• With service providers who help us operate the app (e.g., Firebase for authentication and data storage)

• With RevenueCat, our subscription and payment processing provider, to manage in-app purchases. RevenueCat's privacy policy can be found at revenuecat.com/privacy

• Hall of Fame display names, submitted voluntarily with your explicit consent, may be displayed publicly on devogeapp.com

• When required by law or to protect our rights

 

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard measures. We use Firebase services for authentication and backend storage.

5. Your Rights

You can:

• Access, update, or delete your account information at any time

• Turn off notifications in your device settings

• Request deletion of your account by contacting us

• Withdraw your Hall of Fame consent at any time by contacting us at devogeapp@pm.me and your display name will be removed

6. Children's Privacy

Devoge is designed primarily for users aged 13 and older. However, the app may also be suitable for supervised use by children under 13 in specific settings, such as classrooms where a teacher is present and actively supervising.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that a user under 13 has provided personal information without appropriate supervision, we will take steps to delete that information.

Parents, guardians, and educators who wish to use Devoge with children under 13 are responsible for ensuring proper supervision, managing device permissions, and obtaining any necessary parental consent required by law.

7. In-App Purchases

Devoge offers optional paid subscriptions ("Devoge Pro") processed through Apple's App Store. We do not store your payment information directly. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy in the app.
